REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Regional Coordination

SCTC employs Regional Coordinators to provide our funded coalitions with assistance and coordination at the local level. Regional Coordinators also work at the regional level to develop coordination and collaboration amongst those coalitions. Regions covered are the Upstate, Midlands, Pee Dee and Low Country regions.  Coordination services include:

  • Capacity building – work with funded partnerships to develop grassroots/coalition leaders and help them learn the skills of creating and running community based coalitions
  • Networking – link local coalitions and partnerships with key stakeholders, potential partners, and with statewide resources
  • Leadership training – work with the state office to identify training and technical assistance resources to help coalitions increase their performance, motivation and overall effectiveness
  • Coalition Assistance – provide support to each partnership grant to plan and implement proposed activities; monitor SCTC funded Action Plans; ensure activities/expenditures link to contract deliverables
  • Fiscal Integrity – ensure expenditures match action plan; ensure SCTC funds are maintained separately from other monies; ensure SCTC funds zero out at the end of each funding cycle
